About us
Meet Nick Oloo
Hello friends and neighbors,
My name is Rev. Dr. Nicholas Obiero Oloo, and I am running to be your next State Representative for District 25.
My life has always been about service. I have worked as an educator, social worker, caregiver advocate, and a federal civilian employee supporting military families at JBLM. Today, I help people find employment as a job developer, and I also serve our community as a pastor here in Puyallup.
I hold two Bachelor’s degrees in Commerce and Nutritional Science from Delaware State University, an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN), and both a Master’s and Doctorate in Divinity. I am a hardworking man who deeply believes in family values and the importance of keeping families strong and together. This is the vision I want to promote in District 25.
In every role I have served, I have seen the same reality: hardworking people doing their best, yet facing systems that do not always work for them.

Why I am Running
I am running for Washington State Representative for District 25 because I believe in the power of service, community, and opportunity for every family.
Throughout my life, I have dedicated myself to serving others—as a pastor, educator, and community advocate. In these roles, I have walked alongside families facing real challenges: rising living costs, the struggle to afford childcare, the need for better opportunities for our youth, and the importance of supporting caregivers and small businesses.
These experiences have shown me that many hardworking families are doing everything right, yet the systems meant to support them do not always work as they should. That is why I decided to step forward and run for public office.
I believe our community deserves leadership that listens, understands, and works collaboratively to find practical solutions. My vision is to help build a District 25 where families are supported, small businesses can grow, caregivers are respected, and every child has the opportunity to succeed.
Public service is not about politics, it is about people.I am running to bring compassion, practical leadership, and community-centered solutions to Washington.Together we can build a community where every family has the opportunity to thrive.
Stronger Families. Stronger District 25.
